I have been a childminder since 1992. I live with my husband and we have two grown up children who have flown the nest.
I qualified as a nursery nurse in 1981 and I have always worked with children. I have kept up with training; I am a qualified paediatric first aider, I hold the level two food safety certificate and level two safeguarding certificate as well as other training that embraces all areas of childcare.
There have been quite a few changes down the years, but one thing has stayed the same, my love and commitment to this job and the children I care for.
As a registered childminder, I work in my own home, caring for other people's children and providing preschool education. I am regulated and inspected by Ofsted, this ensures that as a childminder I have all the credentials to give you peace of mind. I offer care for up to three children at any one time, from the age of three months until they start school.
